As we noted in an earlier post, we vowed to climb on the Facebook and Twitter wagons in order to gain entry into the ‘techie cool house’. I tried Facebook and couldn’t bring myself to upload family images and talk about personal stuff, (although it appears that everyone else in the world has no problem with this). Do you really care that I spend weekends at soccer events, basketball games and in front of my computer?
Then, today, we came across this real-life look at Twitter in the New York Times and how it might actually help us in our world.
Perhaps this might shed some sunshine to all of you out there who are like us?
We’ve spent a week in medical heaven–cardiology, surgical services, high blood pressure press outreach. It’s all good.
Happy Weekend,
Stephanie (for everyone here at MPW)
